Dates back to the 14th Century

Namesake for Goffs Park could be attributed to a yeoman Adam Goffe as per a parish document dated to 1341
-
An Ifield Parish Tithe Map (1839) shows that the park had arable lands and general pastures - belonging to Goffs Hill Farm.

There was also a woodland area with coppice and an orchard and “Furze Field” with gorse to help with drainage.

It has previously been leased to Crawley Museum Society by Crawley Borough Council

Until recently, it was leased to HM Prison and Probation Service

The late actor Peter Vaughan - Grouty in TV’s Porridge and Maester Aemon in Game of Thrones once owned the building
